Other
costs will include:

Homestudy and post-placement fees, these fees are determined
by the agency you choose.

I-600A immigration fee $670.00 + $80 per person over the age
of 18 living in your home to be
fingerprinted.

Documentation fees vary from state to state. The cost will
be approximate $400 - $600 for
documents to be notarized,
certified, and authenticated.

Visa to China ($130 per person plus cost of courier),
roundtrip airfare from your home to
US city of departure, meals
in country.

If only one parent is traveling CHI will charge a refundable
$1,000 deposit with the inside China
travel invoice. This fee

will be refundable upon receipt of your child’s
re-adoption/adoption documents from
your state of residence and his/her
Citizenship Certificate or US Passport.
